At Sowbarnika School of Fashion & Costume (SSFC), we are committed to providing quality education and training in the field of fashion and costume design. Our refund policy is designed to be clear, fair, and consistent with industry standards.
Please read the following policy carefully before proceeding with any payments.

1. General Policy

All fees paid to SSFC are non-refundable and non-transferable, under all circumstances, including but not limited to:

Registration/Application Fees

Admission/Enrollment Fees

Tuition Fees (Full/Partial Payments)

Exam and Certification Fees
-
Material/Resource Fees (if applicable)
-
EMI or Installment-based payments made toward any course or service
Once a payment is made, no refunds, cancellations, or credits will be issued, regardless of:

Change of mind or personal circumstances
-
Failure to attend classes or withdrawal
-
Ineligibility discovered after payment
-
Course discontinuation due to personal, professional, or health reasons
2. Course Postponement or Cancellation by SSFC
In rare cases where SSFC postpones or cancels a class or batch due to unavoidable reasons:

Students will be offered an option to transfer to the next available batch, free of charge.

Alternatively, students may choose to receive a full course credit (not a refund), valid for 6 months, which can be applied toward any equivalent SSFC course.
Note: No monetary refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

3. Force Majeure
SSFC is not liable for delays, interruptions, or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government regulations). In such cases:

SSFC will make best efforts to provide alternate dates or learning modes (online/hybrid).

No refunds will be processed for such interruptions.

4. Discontinuation by Student
If a student voluntarily discontinue or drops out from any course:

No portion of the fee is refundable.

Students may request access to course material, subject to availability and management approval.
-
No course credit or postponement will be granted unless explicitly agreed upon in writing before enrollment.

5. Legal Disclaimer

By enrolling at SSFC and submitting any payment, the student and/or parent/guardian agrees to this refund policy in full.

SSFC shall not entertain or be legally liable for any claims, demands, or disputes regarding refund requests once payment has been made.
-
This policy shall be governed under the jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
